Pakistan is well known for the quality of onions with their bright red color and long-lasting shelf life. Sohail Haroon Corporation brings its customers the best onions from the farms of Balochistan and Sindh. The crop of Balochistan starts from the start of July and ends over the mid of September. And the Sindh crop starts at the start of December and goes on till the mid of February. SHC mostly exports to countries in the Middle East and in Asia specifically Dubai, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, and in Asia to Malaysia, Singapore, Srilanka, and Bangladesh
There are three qualities or sorting of Onion. The first size is the Premium size which is 55mm and higher, it's the highest quality and is mostly exported to Singapore and over the Middle East. The Second quality is from 45mm to 55mm it is mostly exported to Malaysia, Srilanka and Bangladesh. The Third Quality is 35-45mm it is exported in Bangladesh, Srilanka and sometimes Malaysia. The fourth quality onion also known as Pickle Onion is from 25-35mm it is mostly exported to Malaysia
