Formite’s Technical/Electrical Grade Melamite (Bakelite) is commonly used for electrical insulation, as well as for the production of various components and fixtures. Electrical Grade P1: The paper-based P1 (PFCP 201) surpasses other PFCP types in mechanical applications and properties. It is an excellent choice for electrical insulation in transformers, electric motors, switch gears, panels, and more. It offers reliable performance at normal humidity levels.
Electrical Grade P2: The paper-based P2 (PFCP 202) exhibits lower mechanical applications but excels in high voltage applications at power frequencies and high electric strength under oil. It also demonstrates good electrical strength in air under normal humidity conditions.
